Fiberglass pre molded pipes are made of non-combustible glass fibers joined into cylindrical insulation sections with a thermosetting resin. The pipe piece may be opened and fitted over the pipe thanks to a slit along one wall. Preformed Pipe Sections are a high-efficiency thermal insulation product for pipelines operating at temperatures ranging from 2 to 450 degrees Celsius. They’re suitable for chilled water, hot water, steam, and other service lines in commercial and institutional buildings, as well as industrial process and steam lines. Corrosion of any metal will not be caused or accelerated by inorganic fibres. When stainless steel is moist with chloride-containing fluids, it cannot act as a catalyst for stress corrosion cracking.
